  • Wisconsin Sate Representative Mary Felzkowski spent the day in Merrill in February 2019.   Rep Felzkowski had the chance to visit Agra Industries, the Fab Lab at the High School and Bell Tower Residence. To view the video, click HERE.

  • It is that time of year as we gear up for Pork in the Park Ribfest on September 14, 2019 at the Merrill Festival Grounds.  This year we will be starting at 2pm to 6pm (or sold out). 

    What a great weekend!  Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather for Pork in the Park and Craft/Vendor Sales!!  Mark you calendars for next year's event on September 19, 2020!

    Congratulations to our winners this year:  1st- Good Grefe! BBQ, 2nd - Geiss Meat Service & 3rd K & R Smokehouse.  People's choice went to Geiss Meat Service.  Thank you to all that participated in the event:  Nelson's PowerHouse, Good Grefe! BBQ, Geiss Meat Service and K & R Smokehouse.  Each cook had their own flavor to the ribs.  It was had to pick which one was the best!!  Depended on your tastes.

    Lincoln County Rodeo Association, Ed and Sharon's and Merrill Youth Hockey Association for helping make this years event great.  Plus, to all the volunteers who help with the event.


  • Nominations for Business of the Year

    The Merrill Chamber is taking nominations from our current Chamber members to nominate themselves or other Chamber members for Businesses of the Year.   Each business is allowed to nominate one business for each category: Large, Mid-sized, Small, Hometown and Not-for-Profit.  Once all nominations are compiled, the Chamber will send out one ballot to each member to vote.  Watch the Chamber website to see who is nominated to Businesses of the Year!

    First Street Coffee Station East (Pine Ridge Ave) - did you know that every second and fourth FRIDAY, they offer Strings and Things from 6-8pm.  Come out and show your talents, whether it is singing, playing an instrument, reading or anything else.

    Merrill Courier – As a long- time newspaper in Merrill, it is sad to have to say goodbye.  Thanks for all the memories.

    Pine River Fire Department Pig Roast – Mark your calendars, September 21st the Pine River Fire Department’s Annual Pig Roast and raffles.  This event is happening from 1pm to 10pm.  Enjoy food, drinks and raffles.  Purchase your ticket for a chance to win a 4-wheeler!! 

    River Bent Trail – Bricks are in.  Stop down and see the wonderful landscaping. 

    Ana Blair’s Boutique – New location at 820 E. 1st St.  Stop in and see what they have to offer.  Plus, sit down and enjoy a coffee as you shop.

    Construction on East Main Street Downtown – construction on East Main Street in the downtown area will be starting soon.  The businesses are still open!  Some have back entrances you can use.

    All Accessible Playground – A huge Thank you goes out to the Merrill Optimist for getting this done.  They would like to thank everyone from using it, for they are waiting for the last phase to be complete.

    107 Bait Shack – stop out and get around of miniature golf and ice cream in before the season is over.  Don’t forget to pick up your live bait for fishing.
