  • 27th Annual Christmas Parade

    Tis the season.  The Merrill Chamber is getting ready to kick-off the Christmas Season with the 27th Annual Christmas Parade.  Mark your calendars for Saturday December 2nd at 5pm.   Santa will be lighting the wreath at the end.   Before & during the parade, enjoy specials at stores all around Merrill.  If you would like to be in the Christmas Parade click HERE for an applications.  

  • 2017 Chamber Christmas Print

    "Have a Chipper Christmas"

    This print is available at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce, 705 N Center Ave.  Limited prints are available.  8x10 are $25, 10x13 are $35 and 12x18 signed are $50.  Cards are $20 for 25 cards and envelopes.  The "signed" prints will be available after October 30, 2017.  Ted Nicholson has once again captured the beauty of Merrill.  This is the 7th Christmas card that Ted has painted for us.  We do have cards available from the past if you have missed them.  In addition, Ted did create the old Fire House that is available too.  Hope you have a "Merrill" Christmas.

    The Merrill Chamber has teamed up with Centergy along with Adams County, North Wood County, Portage County, Marathon County and South Wood County to create Inspire Central Wisconsin.  We have teamed up with the local schools and have gotten on board with Career Cruising program.  Career Cruising is a program that school provide for students of what jobs are available in the community with businesses that have registered with Inspire. 

    Inspire helps by using the Career Cruising platform that is used in many schools, to help students explore their options, interests and aspirations through a variety of activities. The Inspire program then provides a platform that engages community volunteers that act as mentors, business owners that provide valuable educational and career data. Eventually the object is to add work based learning through career fairs, shadow days, mentoring and apprenticeships. An important fact is that this program can level the playing field by providing people of all backgrounds, in all areas of the state, equal access to mentors and relevant employers.

    The Inspire Program is underway and is live.

    Klug's Country Gold is now on East Main Street!

    The Checkered Churn is also open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, offering Italian food. 

    Johnsons of Merrill now has a Cafe and Women's Fitness Center in their Lower Level.  The Cafe is open until 2pm Monday through Saturday.  Every day they have a different menu.
