St. John Lutheran Church has cancelled all Bible study groups, meetings & services until further notice. Services will be available via broadcast on station WJMT - 730 AM. Our Wednesday night services will continue to be broadcast at 7 PM. Beginning on 3/22/20 and every Sunday for the foreseeable future, our service will be broadcast at 11:30 AM. Daily from 1-3pm, we will begin a schedule for receiving communion: Mondays will be for folks with the last names beginning A to E; Tuesdays from F - J; Wednesday from K - O; Thursday from P - T; and Friday from U - Z. If you cannot make it during this time, Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm, the church will be open, and communion will be available then. If you need a special time, please call the church office to set an appointment to do so.

Merrill Area Schools – updates and ideas
Merrill Area Public Schools Students in your household on Monday between 8:00 am and 11:00 am at Door 23 at Merrill High School. Meals picked up on Monday will include breakfasts and lunches for Monday and Tuesday. The same pick up will take place on Wednesday between 8:00 am and 11:00 am at MHS Door 23 for breakfasts and lunches spanning Wednesday through Friday. This Monday and Wednesday meal pick up will continue through June 30th. The requirements of meal pick up do not allow for families to pick up meals for anybody outside of their household.
T.B. Scott Free Library is be offering Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may received free meals as well. Lunch will be served curbside at the Library from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays from June 15 to July 14. Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there weill be no discrimination in the course of meal service.
