    29th Annual Christmas Parade

    Join Weinbrenner Shoe Company as they lead the 2019 parade down West Main Street heading towards the courthouse at 5pm.  Santa will be stopping at Banker's Square to light the new Christmas tree at this location.  Join the Merrill Chamber along with Weinbrenner Shoe Company (Thorogoods Shoes) as we "kick" off the Christmas Season.  To register your float, click here for the form.

    21st Annual Poker Run

    November 9, 2019

    Twelve local Merrill Businesses are participating in this year's event.  The businesses have raised over $900 in prizes of gift certificates that can be used at any of the participating sponsors.  Grand prize of $500, 1st place $150, 2nd place $120, 3rd place $90 and a prize offered by the 12 Merrill businesses for the worst hand.

    How to start, stop at one of the following businesses to pick up your card, and then head to the rest of them to receive a stamp (no purchase necessary).

    Each business has Poker Run Specials displaying Christmas items, in-store specials and tasty treats.  Start your Christmas shopping as you cruise your way through each location to receive your stamp.  At 2pm or later, turn in your game card (must have a minimum of 5 stamps from 5 businesses).  Get dealt a hand (based on your amount of stamps; EX: 5 stamps equal 5 cards; 12 stamps equal 12 cards)  The dealer will help you to receive a poker hand with the possibility of getting a Royal Flush.  

    Once all cards are turned in from the businesses, they will go through to see who has won.

  • Merrill Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration and Awards

    Merrill Chamber held their annual Celebration and Awards at Les and Jim's Lincoln Lanes on October10th.  As the Chamber gets ready for this event, we ask our Chamber members to nominate and vote for Businesses of the Year.  Here is who they picked:  Large Business of the Year -  Jeff Burns - Weinbrenner Shoe Company; Small Business of the Year -  Mark Zulliger, Merrill Community Bank; Non-Profit Business of the Year - Kurt Rust - Merrill Optimist; Ambassador of the Year - Sarah Sturm - Park City Credit Union; Hometown Business of the Year - Andy Geiss - Geiss Meat Services; Mid-size Business of the Year - Lee Osphal - Merrill Tool & Water Jet.  Congratulations to all Chamber Members for an excellent year!!
