The Merrill library is a real treat to visit, housed in a charming historic building with all of the amenities of a large city library. Programs of great variety abound for youngsters and adults. Throughout the year, events are plentiful, ranging from the annual Pork in the Park Ribfest, the Lincoln County Fair, the Lincoln County Rodeo and the Art Attack, to many athletic and bowling competitions.
