Gregory Gnome

Hello Everyone! Meet our new mascot, Gregory Gnome (that's pronounced Reg-o-ree No-mm, the "G's" are silent) or GG. You've heard of Flat Stanley right? Well, this is our version. His goal is to bring our members closer together by getting to understand what a day in the life is at their business or event. The person receiving Gregory Gnome is asked to take picture(s) with Gregory Gnome and share the photo(s) as well as a recount of his adventures with us. They will then pass Gregory Gnome on to the next business. We hope you enjoy this fun way to get to know each other better!

Johnson's Gift Store

Our friend Gregory Gnome has been very very busy here at Johnsons of Merrill. We were so
lucky he came to visit us when he did as we received about a weeks notice that Discover
Wisconsin was stopping to visit. The store shouted summer and Americana from top to bottom
and the episode would not be airing to fall. We discussed this and Gregory suggested that we
change the whole store to fall before their visit. As you can see Gregory is very particular when
setting up is displays.

Here he was very excited to run into his cousin gnome “hear no evil”.

Working with the Women’s clothing was not his favorite project, Gregory suggested we move on to the “Real Man” stuff

Gregory did have one big complaint in regards to our mens department, we do not carry extra extra extra extra small sizes that would fit him. He asked where all the fun stuff was so we sent him into the toy store to work and this is what he did there.

Gregory was excited to learn that we do free gift wrapping when a customer came to the counter with a stack of toys for christmas. Gregory got right to it and had them wrapped in no time.
